    Exactly what I needed

Posted by Unknown on Dec 14th 2015

This Ford manual is the most detailed of 1992 documentation, and exactly what I needed. Once, I believed only a video could present technical data properly, but having looked through this manual, I now understand a video is usually incomplete. For these reasons-- 1. A video needs words-- text or narration-- to explain the video's major points 2. Only a paper manual provides a simplified view of a complex scene, to identify clearly the important items. A video or still photo mixes all items together, the unimportant with the important. 3. Only a paper manual details complicated procedures, whereas a video simply records the operation. Since I have two Escorts, a 92 and a 94, I bought a manual for each one, since procedures sometimes differ. However, an Escort manual for any year in the so-called "Gen2" Escort series (second generation Escorts) often can work, in a general way, for models 1991-1996.
